2. ADVANTAGES AND APPLICATIONS
● As an improved version of SS304, SS321 stainless steel (SS 321) is a stable austenitic stainless steel, and the amount of titanium added is at least 5 times of the carbon content. The addition of titanium can reduce or prevent the allergenicity of carbide precipitation during welding and in the temperature range of 425-815 C. It also improves some characteristics at high temperature. SS321 has excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, and good creep strength.
● Typical applications of 21 stainless steel cold-rolled sheet are expansion joints, bellows, furnace parts, heating pipes, heat exchangers, high-temperature filter screens, spiral welded pipes of burner pipes and flues, etc.
